Don Wong

Pastor Don Wong, an ordained Baptist minister and accomplished social entrepreneur, has garnered numerous accolades, notably the President Challenge Social Enterprise Award Champion Of The Year Category and the Meritorious Award by Prime Minister, Mr Lee Hsien Loong. His expertise extends to various social enterprise forums where he addresses topics such as the essence of social enterprise and the challenges it faces. Pastor Don Wong is a sought-after speaker at diverse congregations, including Paya Lebar Methodist Church, Pentecost Methodist Church, Hing Hwa Methodist Church, St James Church, St Andrews Cathedral, St Paul's Church, and others, spanning from AG Churches to Pentecostal denominations.

As the Founder of The New Charis Mission (TNCM), Pastor Don Wong has left an indelible mark on the community. Prior to this, he played a pivotal role in co-founding The Highpoint Halfway House in 1995, concurrently serving as the Vice-President of HighPoint Community Services Association (HCSA) and the Executive Director of The HighPoint Halfway House & HighPoint Social Enterprise Ark from 1995 to 2006. Pastor Wong's commitment to social causes is further demonstrated through his role as one of the founders of the Association of Christian Halfway Houses (Singapore), where he served as the Vice-President. He also founded the Unlabelled Run in 2016 which evolved into a movement of unlabelling individuals who are unfairly labelled.
 

In addition to his leadership roles, Pastor Don Wong is an Accredited Social Service Practitioner by the Social Work Accreditation and Advisory Board. He is a Certified Human Behavioral Consultant and holds an Advanced Certificate in Theology from Oral Roberts University.

Pastor Don Wong is happily married to Vanessa and they have 2 lovely children, Vivienne and Daryl.
